This uber-romantic picnic is styled within the ceremony garden at Barrel at Clouds, a boutique vineyard wedding venue tucked away on Mountain View Drive, just five minutes from the heart of Maleny. With sweeping panoramic views across the iconic Glasshouse Mountains, the setting feels both beautifully intimate and utterly spectacular.

Settle in, slow down and celebrate love as you indulge in gourmet grazing and a glass (or two) of bubbles, surrounded by rolling vineyard views and open hinterland skies. As the afternoon drifts into golden hour, the sun melts behind the mountains, bathing the landscape in warm light and creating a moment that feels effortlessly romantic.

While your picnic can be enjoyed at any time of day, the most requested experience is a magical sunset picnic. As the light softens and the mountains glow, candles, lanterns and twinkling tealights are fully lit — transforming the space into an intimate, unforgettable setting designed for connection, conversation and lingering moments together.

Your picnic is thoughtfully set up and styled, ready for you to arrive and relax while we take care of every detail — leaving you free to simply be present, soak in the view, and savour a memory you’ll treasure long after the sun has set.
